Description

Browsing through an archive of digital photos I'd taken with me to Oz, I came across these shots I'd completely forgotten about from a couple of years ago: an orb spider in the summer sun. Pity the depth of field is so small at such close quarters and I wish its beautiful abdominal markings were in sharper focus, but it's a hard thing to get right, at least with my camera! Taken with Nikon Coolpix 4500 in Leicestershire, England. Thank you for taking a look and your feedback is always much appreciated :-)

I'm wondering how big the spider was. The markings are beautiful.
