Description

First - I apologize for being late. Well, these old bones of mine aren't moving as fast as they used to. As we can see here, some monsters thought this hero to be an easy pray, what with his walking stick and grey beard and all. Well, they learned that it's a deadly mistake to ambush an old hero - which inevitably means an experienced hero! A belated happy birthday! And may your mind stay as fresh, young and humoristic as you have shown it to be for many, many more years. Hugs, Steven. Pure Firefly render, no postwork. ROTL! This is just a classic scene!! I love the guy slumped over the arch! lol Awesome environment, terrific concept and idea, and great dedication! This image has so much atmosphere and alot of thought put into it! Superb artwork!

Fantastic atmosphere and composition. He looks like he's seen a few fights. Definitively, he looks like Cohen, the Barbarian from Pratchett's novels. Great characters and poses. Excellent image for a dedication. Vote.

Yup, I love Pratchett and "The Last Hero" is part of the inspiration for this image. The other part is from Leah's own wonderfully humoristic birthday image.
