Oh how spectacular!!!!!!!! I love the expressions on every one of them. Now how far were you from her? You make a wonderful wildlife photographer. This would be great as a poster. Well done.

At Ano Nuevo they keep you pretty far back from the bulls, but the young cows are harmless, and they may nestle right up to the viewing platform. She was probably ten feet from me, and my 380mm lens was at full zoom. But the real trick is keeping the shutter open; I brought home a couple hundred pix of seals from a two-hour encounter, and culled those to a dozen or so.
