Description

Another one from last Saturday at oostmalle ( Belgium ). Due to engine trouble, the ( Breitling ) Lockheed Constellation didn' t show up, so they sent their Dakota. Pity, as seeing a Constellation is not an everyday opportunity. Anyway I do like the DC3 too. Another Dakota - in the old colours of the Dutch KLM - is shown here while landing. A Lovely old Lady... I use to see these as a child everyday because of living close to a Douglas facility along with jets that I have not seen since. at least this one can still be seen flying. there is one still being used for aerial photography here superb and very detailed capture
