Description
Playing around with dforce wind on the skirt, lots of fun & learned a few thing! Also used very slight/dim emissives on her outfit to give it an ethereal glow, which was then worked more in Photoshop. Thanks for looking!

I've never seen a banshee, but I wouldn't be surprised if they looked like your artwork. They always announce the death of someone by wailing, so it makes very good sense that her pose and her expression are appropriate for mourning someone. Combining emissives and strong top lighting makes a lot of sense for this render. Maybe having her hair a bit wilder and with some emissive qualities might also have helped with the effect. Beautiful postwork.

Thank you so much for this excellent feedback! I couldn't really get the hair to cooperate more than that. I would have liked it standing up more. I considered painting some hair in postwork, but wasn't feeling up to it at the time. I have been feeling less than creative lately, and asked on social media for my friends to give me some ideas. One said "banshee" and so I rolled with it. I have some other ideas to play with now too.
