More adventures with Daz Studio 4.6, and Genesis :)
I'm not sure what I was doing wrong, but this scene was really giving me a hard time, DS crashed 5 times during it's creation.
In the end, I just deleted the Uber Environment 2 light that loaded with the scene, and added a fresh new one. Indirect lighting
might have been part of the problem too... so I stuck with Occlusion with directional shadows.
I used the SSS option for M5 material, set on low, as well as the medium specularity option.
The results are pretty cool, but I think the subsurface Scattering is still a bit too much,
I'll have to figure out how to edit that for future images.
All the items, including the Ancient Prophecies set, worked really well and look nice.
The Undead Fiend was pretty fun to work with, and has a good texture.
Aside from the crashes, this came together pretty fast, I'm getting more familiar with the Program...
and after the adjustments rendered pretty fast too.
I'd like to thank those of you that have been taking the time to view, comment, rate and favorite my art.

Solid sense of perspective and lighting... the figures look very real with natural expressions. Well done...

nice work my friend, good lightning and atmosphere. Some more work on the skin to make it look more real, but I know how hard it can be to create realistic skin even in Max. I some times create extra lights and make them only cast illumination on the person. Don't know if you can do that in Daz, but you can you give it a try:)

The SSS turned out pretty good, the skin looks a little shiny but I like it as it suits the character (it reminds me the awesome male warriors from the film "300", lol) ... the lighting and fire looks realisitc and the pov is finely chosen ... Another great fantasy piece that tells a story !!!
