Description

"Welcome my son, welcome to the machine. Where have you been? It's alright we know where you've been. You've been in the pipeline, filling in time, Provided with toys and 'Scouting for Boys'. You bought a guitar to punish your ma, And you didn't like school, and now you know you're nobody's fool, So welcome to the machine..." -Pink Floyd

Wow! What a great image! I can't even tell you why I think it is so great! I just sat there staring at it thinking "Something about this moves me!" Keep it up!!

Lovely tonal range and DOF. What is it exactly. Anyway, I'm a sucker for a good PF related photo! "Welcome my son, welcome to the machine. What did you dream? It's alright we told you what to dream. You dreamed of a big star, he played a mean guitar, He always ate in the Steak Bar. He loved to drive in his Jaguar. So welcome to the machine. "

I'm not exactly sure what it is... but it was taken in an old boiler room from a hotel... so something to do with that.

Looking at the switches and the covers, it is a power control panel. Having just finished (sort of finished) the abandoned Hercules Dynamite factory power plant, there were numerous panels there and very similar to this one. Love the title, especially since like Kort, I too am a HUGE fan of PF. As for the photograph, well, I am a sucker for B&W and anything abandoned and mechanical. Have a great weekend.
