i feel the same way a lot...not pleased with so many of my images but feel the need to express myself regardless. i'm not sure why you don't like it unless it's because there's not the usual light coming through. i really love this one though. It's like looking FAR off into the distance and is very contemplative. this is reality and you show it so well! It's an incredibly beautiful capture, and i want you to be proud of it Andreas! it captures the mood of the moment. it's perfect!

If te mist wasn't there it probably would be just a snapshot but it's addition created a wonderful scene, try not to be so hard on yourself, I feel the same way sometimes, good shooting my friend:):):):):)

Coming up with a meaning ful title can be t*x@a!, but sooner or later, usually later, it hits! How about something that has its roots in Nordic Mythology? Just a thought. Have great week.

Dark but true to life I'm sure. And it is depressing but again...true to life. You just need some fireflies coming your way! ;0)

... once I went for a walk in the early morning (I'm a scout and sometimes we do such strange things g) and then it happend that the grass seemed to burn in the light of the morning sun while everthing else was still asleep ... I can still remember the feeling, standing alone and smelling the first sigh of nature ... perfect.

Hi Andreas.I have to admit I find it a bit gloomy. It's rather dark and moody. But there's nothing wrong with conveying that.Obviously, not all landscape photography have to be beautiful or spectacular. It's unusual to see landscape photography have such a tangible emotive feel to it.The only issue I have with it is that it is so dark, that the tree on the far right appears to be outside of the frame rather than behind it. At least on my screen it does.Just keep uploading Andreas. You have a wonderful gift. :)

LOL!! U junkie! ;P I must say that I'm not very keen on this shot either! Not because it's not a nice shot but because I find it quite depressive! :( Technically, it's superb though, wonderfully captured!
