Hi and thanks for your interest and for being an indicator for beautiful images :-) This image is a fractal collage of a multiple self similarity. I found a fantastic freeware called "KnotPlot" that generates all kinds of (Keltic) 3D knots and chains and can export it to a 3D software like my cinema4d. There I assigned self similar noise patterns to the surface and put it in a cube with a UF-Texture. Thats the reason why I think the fractal gallery is the right place to post my image. Keep on smiling. ulli :-)
