Description

News Flash - Fractal Brain Syndrome Utilizing a revolutionary scanning technique, aptly dubbed 'UltraViolet Blue Scanning', doctors at the renowned Man-Newt Research Center for the study of obscure disorders has released its findings to an unsuspecting public! "Our suspicions have been confirmed" remarked Dr "Dee"-Fault Gradient. "At first there were sporadic and isolated cases of unusual symptoms reported to us. Glazed, bloodshot eyes, excessive coffee and tea consumption, people falling asleep at their computers, an unusual malformation of the right or left hand which we consequently call MCD or Mouse Curvature Disorder, in which the fingers and wrist are somewhat stiff and unable to function properly due to prolonged contact with said mouse." "We also began getting reports of people who were unable to focus on work-related problems. They were heard muttering phrases, like 'missing parameter files', 'unable to compile formula'. 'What is the difference between a flame fractal and a fractal'?" "As these incidents rose in number and frequency my esteemed colleague, Dr Batch Render and I devised this new scanning device and technique to discover the causes of this unusual malady". This reporter asked Dr Render to explain the image I saw before me. "Of course," Dr Render replied, " As you can see from this scan, the hemispheres of the brain are completely reconfigured. This subject's brain no longer resembles a normal brain, but a fractal!" This reporter can only wonder what will happen next! Leanndra Wiggins The Chaos Sentinal 23:47 2/26/2005 This is for all of the fractal lovers here! I want to thank MagicHawk for sharing his parameter files, one of which I used to create this image. I hope you have as much fun reading this, as I did writing it! Fractal Explorer 2.02 Post Work: The Usual Suspects
