Description

When I have drag myself out of bed at 4:45am on a Saturday morning, with the prospect of an hour and a half's drive then a three hour trudge uphill in the wind and rain to look forward to, I have to tell myself that maybe, just maybe, the weather will be kind today and bring a sunrise like this. ^^/\^^ Loch Long Argyll Scotland

Absolutely beautiful wonderful and gorgeous light. When I have to drag myself out of bed that early all I get to see is about 30 gallons of porridge.

The last time I trudged 3 hrs. in wind and rain was.......oh yeah, never! Man you gotta be an animal to trudge 3 hrs uphill...my hats off to you!! This image is truly worth the price tho-you really go to great lengths to get an image and that is inspiring to me. Congrats on a lovely image, it's a beaut! V

Great effort and well worth it, Anthony, but are thr sunrises at this loch, longer than those at others, or does it just seem to be timeless ? ;) As per ZACKO's comments I think that MOJOWORLD is nearer the mark than TERRAGEN. The latter is much better at photo-realism, in particular with water, but not so good at closeup textures, such as this shot with its spiky tussocks of grass . Regards, John.
