An oldie for a good start of the year!
This portrait (if You can say so) was painted back in 2001 and was a birthday gift for a very good friend of mine. Hope there's nothing wrong if I upload a scan here.

As You may see by genre this is some kind of faerie. Actually the most common kind. Phaerus Naturalis (those so popular transparent, rabbit eared and insect winged creatures are just mistakes or weird experiments of dumb magicians). If You don't agree with me call my lawyer or go to the nearest RPG shop and ask there what the hell is this all about.
THIS is a faerie.
And at the top of it's rage.
Let's say this poor being has just lost his favorite silver spoon, someone ate his berries and there's no a single soul around to play a trick on, and all the faerie fame and glory goes to some genetically modified bastards with fly wings!
Life sucks.
Sometimes You wanna cry. Or kill somebody. And there's no one around.
And then You burst with anger (small one in this case).

You'll probably laugh, but the first moment I saw this, without reading the comment or anything, I was struck with one idea: the Sith version of Master Yoda... :P hey, everyone's entitled to a vision, right? :D Excellent concept for a very original faerie - draw more of these and soon we'll be able to start a war against those "fly-winged" impostors ;)
