Neat trick with the shadowing on the background image. How'd ya do it?
thanks for the feedback :) the shadowing trick is a fairly standard photoshop effect. I actually way prefer it over shadows created in poser, theres a lot more creative control with shadows created in post. basically what you do is create a selection of the figure you want to create a shadow for (figure and background should be on separate layers). then on a layer underneath the figure you fill the selection with pure black. do a free transform on the shadow so it matches up nicely with the figure and the perspective of the background. deselect, then gaussian blur the black with a setting of about 8. Then take the shadow layer opacity down to about 30%. Voila, instant shadow! Of course there's plenty of room to play around with the setting numbers, but this should give you a basic flow for creating these kinds of shadows.
