Description
He was tiny and this already is a 50% crop (even though I shot him with 500mm from about 10 meters)
But I got him! I'm exptremely happy to have captured one of the most gorgeous animals that life in Holland.

a wonderful image and a fantastic shot,Johannes.i saw a fantastic serie of this bird a few years ago. the photographer put an aquarium with some fishes on the right place.he was hiding in a tent the lens was pointing towards the aquarium. the kingfishers was hunting the fishes, amazing serie it was. !!!!!!!!!!!! #:O) !!!!!!!!!
