I'm quite happy with the colors, too bad that the scanner provides a lot loss of sharpness. The original is sharp... trust me :)

it is a great shot!!! and that scanner....well I have given up on it....it's such a shame to see a sharp image totally waisted by a scanner... go for digital I'd say ;)

No, I try to give the sharpness story with a wink... It realy is sharp though. And yes, I'm going for digital... I got a minolta, so as soon as the digital SLR will be out, I'll buy it (if I got the monney).... At least I already havve a nice lens collection for it.

Fantastic composition, colors, and if it seems to soft, give a little zap with Unsharp mask in an image editing program. But at the resolution I'm viewing here it does appear to be sufficiently sharp.

Managing pixels without the appropriate tools might be difficult but your compo is not suffering from it, the color setting neither - simple but great - and well, it's just a fine image!
