.:If the textures look flat it's because i designed them with mental ray displacement and my pc can't handle it so i had to use the default renderer:.
The flatness kind of fits the color and intensity choices, thought it was part of rendering the water look.

Good concept. The textures don't bother me. I would change the lighting though, I think, to get more contrast, more darks and lights. I might also add just a touch of blue or green tint to the lighting. My eye wants more contrast.
