Always been haunted by Pompeii...striking tribute. One thought I had is, I love the sepia image, but it might be interesting to see the hint of a red glow at the bottom of the figures?

The lighting and the textures are simply first rate. Great composition to a great image it is equally haunting and beautiful at the same time. Was your intention to exaggerate the length of their legs?

Stunning!!! Actually it reminds me more of what happened to Lot's wife when Sodom and Gommorah were destroyed. Pillars of salt. Definitely gets my vote.
