Description

Background on the concept: The Cross' top and bottom are silver. Sandwiched in between is wood (from the actual Cross of Christ). The Center orb contains some of the blood of Christ from the time of his Cucifixion. Construction of the cross was done with greyscale images I made in Photopaint. The string, scrolls and monocle were made mostly in Rhino. Rendered with 5 lights, SS and Blurry reflections @ 1000x750. Render time was just under 25 hours. Post was mostly BCI and slight color adjustments. Edge blur by a FP filter in PS. 99% of mats mine. The cloth under the cross is a scan I did of a shirt, made the transmap in Corel. ;-) Thanks for looking, and Merry CHRISTmas to all here at R! -Bruce

HI! I like to surf here to get ideas to try with Bryce, or just the curiosity to try new things. But i have to say your picture is truly one of the best work i've saw here! Congratulation! I'd like to have the talent you have! My works are not that great! Maybe because i don't work long enough on them! :-) Maybe i should post some later... Congratulation again!
