Description
Hope
Haunting shades of an untold life-
searing, raged, and full of strife-
hides behind a wicked seed,
begs surcease as false hopes bleed.
With each though it steals control,
with each breath it bleeds the soul.
Your entire world is turned to night
to be defiled by self made blight.
But spark of life brings brief hope-
a hidden dream in a massive scope-
to this tinny light we must hold
with a strength pure and bold.
Something that we cannot see
dwells behind our wall of lies.
The truth shows not in you or me
it lives in someone else
