I watched a movie awhile back based on an abandoned psyche center. The place was haunted and gave everyone on the film crew the creeps! A character in the film becomes posessed by a patient who died there and goes abt killing off the other characters. That was a really strange movie...can't recall the name. The place was famous for being the first center to apply the "shock treatment." I can't remember what country the center was located...

What a waste of architecture to be left unused...I'll take it...of course it has to be the less spookier version of this one :)

I know this place. I have a mental illness, but was never there. I do have some friends who spent A LOT of time inside. The building is creepy because of what they did to the patients in the name of benevolent ignorance. The window with the big black bars....that was where people would congregate each day...just to get a look at the "real world" outside, beyond their reach. Being mentally ill sucks, but this photo still rocks. Nice job...really. Just a lot of awful sad things went on in there, that's all.
