Description

I visited a beautiful cemetary in Savannah, GA, and left with a few great shots and a wondering mind. This is the first of several images I will be posting. If I find the time I hope to develop a "ghost story" series. Bonaventure Cemetary is very old and is said to be haunted. I will post the stories with later pics. Thank you. As always, your opinion is appreciated. Please Note: I asked Renderosity for help naming this image. I have selected "Solitude in Stone." Thank you Dragontales.

"Petite Angel of the Cypress" those are Cypress trees? Should make a very nice series, cemeteries usually do :) & I always love a good ghost story! (got any extra credit?)

How about something like "Guardian of the Forgotten" or something along those lines. Really pretty shot by the way and it reminds me of some of the more classically inspired cemetaries that I had the chance to see in Rome many moons ago.

In deep sorrow she cradles the tears of those loved ones left behind to morn with heavy hearts. She is the Angel of Sorrow.

You guys are certainly thinking more creative than I. They are all excellent and so intriguing. It is going to be tough. Keep the names comig. I am going to wait a couple days (until Thursday) and then make a decision. Thanks for your input. Be sure to comment on the image itself as well. What do you think about the shot?

what a dramatic story this conveys .. a fading wind, sprouting life, presenting death, sacrificing perfection and more. i can't comment on all of your work - but you have an extremely intreguing eye. Keep up the good work.
