Description

Been modeling this for a little while, was happy with how it turned out so I posted it :) Made with primitives. I dont think im gonna texture it cuz i dont know what i will do w/ it! Thanks to Alvinylala for posting that awesome model of Mecha 1, it inspired me all over again. Thanks for viewing and commenting-- have a good weekend.

Oh no plz texture it! Dunno how you can do it, but you simply have to find a way... it's too good a model to leave it so blank. Excellent modelling work.

I gotta agree with Doublecrash, throw some textures on that puppy. Great model.

you could also texture individual primitives, to give it some variety (something I'm guilty of not doing myself..;) One trick I've been taught here; create a very larger sphere, put you, the object, the camera inside, and then texture the shpere with some sort of space or volume texture, and maybe a light or two..helps if you set the sky to 'night'. It's worked for me..;)

Yes, I have to agree, I would really like to see you finish this! The complexity is excellent as is the overall structure! Well done my friend! ;-)

Excellent work! Did you family any of the objects? God help you if you didn't because that would be a #@&*! to sort out the textures otherwise. Awesome job.

Texture it for gods sake!!! It's too good an opportunity, and knowing you, you will do it justice. I'd like to see this in a space scene above a planet, with some smaller ships flying around to give it scale. One texture that I find always works well is the metal 6 texture from rochr's site http://w1.351.telia.com/~u35111397/

All has been said above! Now you MUST finish this baby! :) Give it some old, worn, metal texture Put it in space, orbiting some strange world or something. This is really great modeling!!!

Totally awesome!!! Anyone who can model entirely in Bryce (And I've tried) gets a big thumbs up from me, spectacular job!! and I like the monochromatic tone, keeps the focus on the form.
