I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Even though they are a few years old, these images are still good. RodS, you were already good with Photoshop!!!👍🙋♂️

"Painting clothing onto my Poser Girls". -way-back machine music plays-
I still have Seisaku Kano's book "Photoshop Pin-Up". It was in Japanese, but visual enough for me to figure out what he was doing. Made me get more into Poser, and strive to learn Photoshop in greater depth. Thanks for the trip.

Cool !

Your skill and talent shined bright in this well done image Rod...I still remember the days when I would see online tutorials about how to paint clothes onto poser figures. Now AI can easily handle that task with so much ease, those were the days my friend...when skill and talent mattered and nothing else would do! :-)

Hey, thanks, Johnny! I enjoyed stumbling onto this old piece. 😁
Maybe I'm living in another dimension or something, I just don't "get" this whole AI craze. Type in a dozen or so "prompts" and out come 3 or 4 images to choose from. I admit some of them are lovely, but to me, it's like calling your artist buddy and saying "I want a scene with a beautiful blonde girl in a short red skirt and a white T-shirt, sitting next to a tree, drinking a Coke." You end up with a lovely artwork, but it's NOT yours. You did no painting, no drawing, and no fiddling with morphs.
I actually enjoy the creative process, adding all the little details, and just playing around with the image. It's relaxing, it takes my mind - what's left of it - off all the BS going on everywhere. If I ever do anything with AI, it'll be for background elements, or a very small part of whatever I'm working on.

omg, you made those clothes in photoshop? I know you've painted and drawn (and was very impressed with the samples you've posted, prior), but you did these in photoshop? Whoosh. Impressed! Yeah, airbrush can teach a lot of things, but when I did airbrush I got paint all over everything, and my 'gradations' were a huuuuge splotch of super-concentrated red, with red spots surrounding, like it had measles. But I can see that your airbrush years gave you real sensitivity to the flow of light and hue.
Love your textures and highlights, they're almost poser-like. And you made the figures and faces too? Dude, you don't need Poser! I'm impressed...and they're holding up a photo of blossoms---fitting for april. It's rare to see a pure white background in your work---this is definitely pre-poser. It's striking, very graphic and not 3D. It's always good to be reminded of your many skills and talents...one of these days you should post a 90 story high rise and say "I made it in a weekend---I was bored...That was right after I designed an aircraft carrier...Did I ever post that? I don't remember..." This is a wonderful upload.
I hope and pray that this possible sale comes through for you. You deserve a sale wherever it comes from---I can't wish you more if I try. (Are you listening, Fate?) I'm pulling for you.
Btw, is "Crimson & Lacie" a takeoff on "Cagney & Lacey"? (I just aged myself 60 years with that reference...)

I think our house was bought by a developer, Rod, so good luck with that. We're getting near completion here. I can't wait to move! Lovely work here, Rod.

Glamorous awesome composition, I'm afraid you were using the 3D Photoshop undercover version..😊💝🥰

Just buy any random ordinary mansion with indoor pool and never look back.😊💝🥰
Couple palm trees around the outdoors pool would be as well a great asset.
Just don't choose never ever a fun house where they act like caring people.., there is no such things except in the movies.
Good luck and don't forget to return with some hot captures from the parties.😊💝🥰

What a splash, those two ladies, and then the photo they keep up, I think this is a special achievement and presentation. It must have been a pleasant surprise that you discovered it. Good luck with your new neighbor, Rod.
