Whatever War touches, looses its Innocence. Landscapes, Societies, Men, Cultures.

I wonder, what the ancient Gods saw in Mankind, that made their Faces and Hearts turn to Stone?

I agree with you ! War is awful : it only serves powerful people to reach their goals (being more wealthy and/or powerful) Great portrait !

Thank You for Support. I had the unwanted Chance to see ... . May any God in reach help us!

Very eerie and powerful message. War is indeed awful, it is unfortunate that it seems to keep happening.

Thank You for taking the Time! Yes, it seems part of Our Nature, but to my experience many of them just dont happen, theyre arranged strategically! (By the "false Gods!")

The world can be quite cruel at times. I have lived through Hitler and Stalin and other dictators. We have our own one now in UK - Comrade Starmer. We indeed live in 'interesting times'.!

But the World will keep on turning and Times are achanging fast. Maybe to the better! Keep Faith and Hope in these Times, whatever Hope represents to You. All will pass! :)

Thank You for kind Words on a sad Picture. Comment on Your last Creation was well deserved, its a real Beauty! :)

I love your narrative, it's interesting to me. The sad image that you created, the facial expression, is very typical, and radiates both sorrow, but it is also very refined.
Perhaps the gods were disappointed by the actions of humanity—the wars, the greed, and the destruction of what was sacred. Their faces and hearts turned to stone as a response to this disappointment, a sign of their withdrawal and the loss of their ability to be touched by the world.

Thank You for Your long and Thoughtful Comment. and taking the Time! :) Maybe Youre right, but that would lead to the pessimistic View: They have a Point in leaving us alone!

thanks for your comment on my pic and wow its amazing i love it

Well deserved! Its a good and peaceful Composition that caught my eye! Some fine Images I perceive only late, beacuse of the permanent "Carnival" in here. I´ve looked further in Your Gal and Yours are very fine; they point to a friendly Character! :)
Glad that "Sad Athena" met Your preferences. But maybe You should not look at these dark ones, it of no good for the Soul! :)

Very strong theme and render. I would never have guessed Blender was used. Lovely painterly style.
chrysaor
You are right, Blender was only used to add Hair and "repair" Issues! The Worklflow is to extract the models via Photogrammetry from Statues antiques and give them Browes and Hair in Blender. Then in Gimp the BG was changed and after a lot of blurring and masking that is the Result. Dont want to other, but these are earlier Examples: https://www.renderosity.com/gallery/items/3139701/face-of-aphrodite-reconstruction
Congratulations to Your last Series. It has a strong Appearance and is imho a very unique Style. Very fine Works! :)

Could be a romantic painting of XIXth :)

Thank You, Mooch, for taking the Time! Maybe You are right, but I confess the use of Michelangelos "Rötel" (Red Chalk) in Excess! Glad to hear You! :)
Merci, Mooch, d'avoir pris le temps ! Peut-être que vous avez raison, mais j'avoue l'utilisation de Michel-Ange « Rötel » (Crayon Rouge) en excès ! Heureux de vous entendre ! :)
