Description

One of a series of Americana images, generated in Midjourney. Hoping to capture 1930s Americans and their families at the farm, at home, on the porch. Everyday, hard-working, proud, and resilient Americans. Hope you like it.

If you want some of the flavor, find The Waltons on an oldie TV network like MeTV or something. Waltons was a bit neater and tidier than the real thing, but it'll give you a taste.

I have pictures of my old Grand-dad from back then, and yeah people were extremely poor and AM Radio was about as high-tech as it got. Mind you, I pre-date the internet so I can attest that life before hi tech was actually pretty good as such, but people during the depression had it pretty hard.
