Description

The first render of the new year. I just had surgery for cataracts and glaucoma. My doctors tell me to do nothing strenuous for three to five weeks. I can't shovel snow, mop floors, or vacuum carpets. I've been told not to lift anything heavier than ten pounds. And, for the moment, my eyes are not what they were. The screen is a blur; I must squint to read the library and parameter settings. This uninspiring render is meant to cheer me up and to remind me that I intended to learn DAZ Studio. I used Sultry Hair from DAZ.

Thanks so much, Steve. I do truly appreciate your taking the time to comment. The last few weeks have been difficult, I use a magnifying glass to read. Your wishes for a speedy recovery are more than welcome. Cheers.

Hot looking new image after your surgery, I have my eyes done before 4 years (cataract), I still need glasses and I believe that both eyes will soon have to be lasered again because my eyesight has deteriorated, everything is blurry very often and my eyes also start to burn if I sit at the PC for too long! Now you have to have a lot of patience with yourself, because the first few weeks after such an operation demand a lot from you! Good Luck!!!!

Thank you so much, UteBigSmile. It's good advice. I try not to spend too much time at the computer, but it's more interesting than TV. You're right, I must be patient with things.

very beautiful nude and pose

I have not had any eye surgery, but I can relate to your dilemma. I have glasses for computer use, and I forget to change them sometimes before walking through the house. the TV is blurred. a friend went to a probably the most well known company for cataract surgery in Texas. one of the bumbling fool doctors blinded him . he got a settlement, but no where close to the value of losing your eyesight . on top of that he has had 13 to 14 heart surgeries from service with the Marine Core

Thank you, Richardphotos. My heart goes out to your friend. That is nothing short of a catastrophe. My doctor seems quite competent, I'm happy to say. It's the glaucoma that's the problem, not the doctor. Still, it's very unnerving to have surgery on your eyes. Everything I like to do depends on being able to see. So does my job. I can hardly wait to recover my vision.

A very beautiful scene and marvelous character! I had cataract surgery last year in May on my right eye. It definitely improved it to where it was as good as my left eye that was still doing okay. I was glad to have that result, but like you say, it takes some time for the surgery to clear up. Once you get your vision back, you will be very relieved and glad you did the surgery. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that you have a full recovery and can see perfectly again!

Thank you so very much for your well wishes, they are very much appreciated. A complete recovery is going to take a little while longer. Still, my doctor tells me that all is going as it should. Thanks again. Stay safe until it's over.

his optic nerve was cut by error. at least he still can see with his other eye. with my good eye I have 20 30 vision. it would have to be a major thing to have surgery on it

Thanks for your reply, Richardphotos. I'm concerned about my left eye these days. The last examination revealed what the doctor called "considerable damage." Still, life must go on.
