Description

A group shot of these fascinating creatures. They're in constant motion and mesmerizing to watch. When I visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium I always make the jelly fish exhibit my first destination. The area fills up fast and getting the chance to take shots like this fade fast. Enjoy.

re getting there early so you won't have to fight crowds: Wouldn't it be wonderful if one day a week were declared "photographer's day," and you could go to a place like this and have all day to photograph with nothing but photographers around? You could even move buildings (that would be part of the day's rules): just move a high rise to the left, move trees, lift up roads, to get a 'better view'...I'm going a little off the rails here, but why not...you could even order the sun to stand still during a sunrise...it moves too fast, right? No respect, it's got no respect...) Anyway, this is a phantasmagorical vision, I love the collision of forms and undulating sheaths, and the feeling that everyone is crowding into everyone else. And that beautiful dark orange, and that luminous blue, etc. A beautiful shot of the collision of airy billowy creatures. A real dream. Beautiful.
