Description

I’m finally getting serious about publishing my writing. Even the rejection process takes too long. It took nineteen months at Baen. So, my first novel should be ready for epublishing and print on demand by the end of the first quarter of this year. It’s actually my fourth novel, but it’s the first that I think is polished enough. In the meantime, as a learning experience, or beta run, I’ve published my “award-winning” short story Sailing the Sky Sea as an e-book on Amazon and Kobo: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AE5AF2S store.kobobooks.com/en-us/ebook/sailing-the-sky-sea Here’s the cover I put together. Any feedback on cover design is greatly appreciated. I did a cover for the novel Jupiter Bound, last year, and I’ll probably go with a variation of that (previous gallery post), but any feedback on this cover or the previous is appreciated.

Interesting design! Good luck on the SF writing. FYI, I have stopped posting images on Renderosity since I no longer am receiving any comments on my work here. I now only post on my own website at http://www.dcmstarships.com and DeviantArt. Best Wishes, David Mueller

Congrats and good luck. Like the cover art. the damaged (?) panels add an element of intrigue as they appear to be in worse shape than the rest of the vehicle.

Congratulations, good luck and huge sales. Finding a publisher can be a very frustrating experience. I went through this in the late 1990 when I looked for a publisher for the text book I wrote about CCD cameras for the astronomy amateur. I like your book cover. It looks good to me.
