I really like this image, Nice use of colors, texture, and the models are great. But something about it is bothering me, I think it's a combination of the background and the lack of any hard shadows is making it seem way to flat (don't know if this is your intention but I think it could use a little more deminsion)

I have to agree with Muletx, it seems too flat... There is something wrong with the background too... not sure what though. I guess I'm having a hard time with the light source, but it could be because I'm trying to make it 'look' three-dimensional or something... Nonetheless, I really think this is cool... The color scheme is really nice.

I'd have to disagree. I think the implied 2-dimentional 'painting' effect does the image well. The colors are great, the repeated shapes and textures draw the image together very nicely. Although it isn't any great modelling feat, this is one the best images to come out of this whole forum. Absolutely fantastic. I'd buy a print of this.

I had better add a few more comments about the piece. KingHeroical saw the work in its true sense, and his words ring true, I agree no great modelling is in there , as the man rightly says, and knows the reasons why, but if it gets any more views, a few reasons why its like that. The modelling was left to a minimum to suggest faceless workers who built the industry, they are suggestive of spark plugs, for getting the thing started. The lack of environment implies their loss of their own environment, thus identity, and the only suggestion of perspective is the line of them retreating into the distance. I believe rhino can be used in many ways, and should be, because its a really accessible nurbs program.

Don't get mad at me mister but when I saw the thumb I thought there was a bit of word play going on here, they looked like four mechanical Hookers provided by the City as part of a traffic control initiative. You must have guessed by now that I prefer your conceptual stuff more? Whatever the interpretations we all might have there is still at root in this image a strong air of remoteness ( pardon the near pun). I am sure that you shall reveal the hidden worlds behind the tools in this software. Very interesting stuff.

Muted Watercolors...and for me the image is it. I enjoy it as just an abstraction that is pleasing in colour, tone and composition. Meaning and symbolism though of interest is secondary to just being a cool abstraction, would hang this in a prominent place if had a print - like this very much.
