Ah, here at last ! ;) it was a beautiful series Lucinda, a bit of everything for everyone ... there is something so very mysterious about # 4, which I like, especially with a 'shady character' lurking in the BG, but # 6 is my favourite, take for example the big white railing, with those interesting looking air vents, making a bold statement and then in the distance the Fairmont Hotel, which is such a big contrast of styles ... well done, BB

fabulous shots and collage! I don't know why but I have a "noir" or spy movie feeling when riding a ferry. # 4 or #6 have an eerie mood: I'd look for a hidden messages, a concealed gun, ...

It's wonderful,, Lucinda. It is as if I'm on the ferry myself. You made the series in a very artistic way, And I admire all of them, dear friend. A big hug :).

A montage of epic, if not biblical, proportions in this awesome labor of love, Lucinda. It looks like fisheye in reverse. Stellar effort!

Oh boy. This is the one I've been waiting for. :) 1. Mukilteo Ferry. This view is as familiar to me as my own back yard. It's so much fun to see it through your eyes! I have so many memories of that ferry ride over so many years. My sister-in-law lives on Whidbey, and we lived right on the Edmonds/Mukilteo border (I've lived in that area since 1981) so that ferry dock has been a big part of my life for a very long time. 2. I love the different outfits people have on. :) Shorts and tees (probably a native) and big puffy down coats (probably someone from south Texas, LOL!), and it looks like a perfect day! Super capture. 3. You have no idea how glad I am that you took this on a BC ferry. This is such a fabulous shot that if you'd taken it on my patch, I'd have to hide my head in shame forever for not having seen it. What a relief! It's probably my favorite of the series, unless I'm looking at another one. It's outstanding! 4. Okay, no, THIS is my favorite shot! It's the Mukilteo ferry of course. I've taken pictures of that danged bench about a million times, trying to get THIS shot. (Seriously. When you're here I'll show you hundreds of pictures I've taken in that outside seating area.) There's something about being from someplace else that allows us to get amazing shots like this when the people who live there can't figure it out. When I saw this picture when you first posted it, I made Bill come look. It's stunning. The bench looks like it's floating, and the pov is perfect. Love it! 5. No question why Andrea likes this one best! What a cutie-patootie he is"! :) Super candid portrait. Really nice work! 6. Terrific shot! I haven't been to the Empress since the late 1970s. Between you and Claude (photosynthesis) you make me think we need to run up and visit our neighbors here pretty soon! :) 7. Are you sure that's the BC ferry? It looks awfully familiar! Either way, it's a great shot. I loved this series! Fine pictures, all. Thanks for sharing them, and for doing a collection and leaving comments on. I've been itching for this one for days! :)

A super collage and I was so impressed with the photo of all the cars waiting to leave the ferry. I loved the lighting!
