Hi guys, here's a 3d render of a cat being bothered by a very annoying fly... I created this image in Softimage XSI using the Arnold Renderer. I modeled the cat after my own cat and hand painted the textures in Photoshop, including the eye. Hope you like it.

Wow, that is one amazing piece of work! In zoom I can see the intricate brush work on the cats fur and how some of the hairs are bent and twisted. All working to produce a very natural look. The overall model is beautifully constructed. The scene is very cute and thoughtfully executed. A fine bit of craftsmanship.

Very well done. XSI is my "go to" modeler and I use that first before thinking about any other modeler. Octane works for me, however, it is great to see Arnold and I'm very impressed with your work.
