As a hobbyist photographer I developed an interest in combining "fantasy and reality" back in the late 1990's. At that time my graphics knowledge consisted of a vague familiarity with PhotoImpact. With the help of some friends who were learning Poser at the time I obtained some "tubes" of fairies which I incorporated into various shots of flowers and gardens and eventually purchased Poser in an attempt to create my own additions to my photos.
Through a graphics design course I took on line I met some of the greatest Poser artists around. Paramount was meeting Jayme from Illusions Designs (in my mind the "King of Poser Art" ) who spent countless hours and infinite patience teaching me how to actually use the program, add dimension and shadow and most importantly--create a personality to the figures thus giving them that certain "glow". Without that, you would most likely still be looking at flat, lifeless images in my gallery.Â
Once comfortable with using the program I developed an interest in character creation.  Again my dear Jayme to the rescue -- always coaching and challenging me to go beyond what I thought I could do...and the result is the characters you will soon find in my store.   Â
I still have a ways to go before I'm completely satisfied with my images and characters, but in the journey lies all the fun!

I forgot to add; And one should never be afraid of saying it out loud. "When I open my mail and look at it, and my body slowly starts to lean back and my jaw starts to hang open. Now my mind begins to take me in all sorts of directions and places that quickly makes me realize that no matter where you are and no matter what you're doing, the power of inducing thought one can exercise over the other through an assemble of various pieces and colors, regardless of how they are put together, has the ability to make a man sink deeper in to his soul and realize that there is always more than just visual images inside of us. There is a connection that is attached by a long chain of much deeper emotion than those you can see by the result on the screen. And that makes you picture so much more effectively beautiful than I can ever make it myself. I may be the king of Poser my Dearest but you create the eye inside the box Picasso painted 100 years ago, that only few are blessed enough to see through it and the rest of the world still have a hard time understanding. There is a sentiment of virtue and trust exploding and coming out of this digital canvas that makes the chain ever so strong and never unbreakable. And that brings tears to my eyes and makes me cry." Beautiful image, my Friend! really like how loving and passionate this image is, and what a special sort it symbolizes and represents. I can't agree with you more, about it being rare to find that special friend who understands you for the way you are. It is a very special and beautiful composition, filled with such a great warmth!
