Description

a wonderful return to muscular portraiture, the last time I shot someone like this I was still shooting film! it is good to be back.. I will be doing a lot more of this when I get my new studio built...very exciting... this young guy was blown away by this imagery as we were creating it....he was in amazing shape and I shot 350 images..... You can probably see where my daz lighting comes from now.... it was funny I was finding myself moving the studio lights mentally and then realised I had to go and actually move them physically.... no graphics tablet to help me...... be safe and well my friends Carl

Nice to see someone paying tribute to man! We are an endangered and persecuted specie, soon to be extinct. And what a strange coincidence, his body looks exactly to mine! ;)

Hooo! This is ..... ( yes I have no word, so I dot and you know what I mean ):o) I always liked the photographies I already saw. This one is up to my expectancies. You don't need a graphic tablet to be good, my dear Carl . The model is wonderful and has a very good profile. I like the muscle on his jaw looking so tense, that's my favourite part. The play of shadows and lights is excellent. I never made a mystery about me being a man-lover, so you really make my day . :) I hope you'll share more of those. Big hugs Odile

When you move on to your next project just ship him over to my ... um ... studio ... yes... um... that was the word I was searching for...... I adore your images - they have such presence; and when you show your photography it is apparent where your ability to light forms in the way you do comes from - stunning photos of an amazing subject!!!

Looking good! I can't help wondering what a monochrome conversion with a bit of a contrast boost would look like - he's certainly got the physique to carry it off

What an amazing model... So cool to see your skills with the camera this time! I'll confess I'm having the same thoughts as you, moving the lights and setting up a scene as in Bryce... the only difference is I can't apply them in the real life, yet. It's my little big dream to do it one day, on a professional level. I'm so excited to see more of your work with the camera. And look, posing those chains was a piece of cake in comparison to 3d, huh? :D Excellent stuff, mate. Vashek

Great work directing those grips to move the lights to the right place, fabulous pose and shot against that blue slate-like cloth, the grittiness of it evokes something out of the depression years, pure gallery level, well done Carl.
