Description
Happy New Year!!
It's been a good few months since I've done any artwork. I lost my 14 year old dog in October, and that has been somewhat of a blow. I miss my beautiful Jasper.
People often say my images look like paintings, so have taken it a little further. Rendered in DAZ Studio, and postworked in Corel Painter using the cloning technique with the oil brush cloner. It was really fun playing around with brush techniques - which makes me wish I could actually paint. Nevertheless, this is the closest I will get.
Thank you always for comments. All the best for 2011.

superb!!
Very good character and outfit. Cool collage
This is amazing....I love the effect.....especially on the feathers....well done!
i'm so sorry to hear about your dog. all the elements look gorgeous. you've chosen some beautiful colors. the color space makes it look more like a render and less like a painting to me than your other works (it's really clearly not using linear workflow), but i really love the texture the effect gives everything. thanks for the details; they look beautiful. and congratulations on becoming one of the most popular portfolios on CG Society a little while ago!
Awesome art !!!

Sorry to hear about your dog. :( Lucky you for having Painter; I have the lite version, but it just doesn't compare. The brush strokes look fantastic. :)
