here's the story behind the ear: a few years ago, he got an earmite infection and through scratching, he managed to burst a blood vessel which made the ear swell up to the size of a walnut. we had the vet drain the blood and then the ear just kind of flopped over and is hard in that position(he can still swivel it around though)
