This is an amazing character portrait! Great details in the costume. I love the magic effect! and the background and lights are so very fitting. Wow. If I were a writer, I'd be able to write a novel about her and her world, based on this image alone, but since I'm not a writer, I wish I could read a novel about her :).

Thanks, everyone! I've been thinking about doing some backgrounds to sell here, so maybe I'll include this one :-) Antaran - I love your idea of a story! :-) I like how this turned out - it's different than my typical images of the subject looking at the camera. I'm also really happy with the light effect on her hand. I just did a point light and sort of threw it in there. It just so happened to illuminate exactly what I wanted it to, with no fiddling. I love it when that happens!
