Description

Poppies in a gentle summer breeze as ominous clouds amass on the horizon. Photo taken in Oxfordshire, England. This is the only patch of red I've found locally and required an energetic if short trek to get there. The composition is a result of having to work with what I was given as I felt the tree was needed to add some structure, but turning the camera any further right would have included some unsightly nearby farm buildings. Nevertheless I think it works adequately enough to convey the notion of a gentle summer breeze through a splash of summer colour, which is what the shot's really about. Exposure was 1 second, for those who like to know these things... Hope you're all well! (Sorry, no time for comments today) (PRINT AVAILABLE ON MY WEBSITE)
