Yeah, well when I published my book I did all the artwork myself. A good friend of mine, who has since passed away but who was an internationally recognized fine artist, raked me over the coals-"How could you hog all the artwork for yourself?? Give someone else a chance to get their work out there...." So I have been trying to respect that-and I generally think it's a good thing, build a team and get a variety of perspectives, help other people's careers etc etc etc. But the storyboarding is just too intense to get other people on unless you can work with them in an office and pay them weekly-I'm not there yet, close, ironically-I'm still hoping by October at the latest we will see our first draw downs from major preproduction funding. In the mean time, it kind of feels good to be doing art again. Thanks for noticing. :)
