Whatever it is, it gets hot. Looks like an audio amplifier to me, but anything requiring heat transferance might have these same parts! So I guess the answer to your question is "no." LOL! So far, we're guessing!

Ah, an alien machine! I love those...this looks like a dipolar quantum flux stabilizer, or maybe the inside parts of a very complicated, ultramodern samovar from Russia of the future...or maybe it's just a part of a very simple heat exchange system. I have no idea what it is, but since I love science fiction, I can make something up! The colors are fantastic as are the patterns. I love the sense of mystery, and yes...I love looking at things and not really knowing what they are. It allows me to be creative. (In my gallery, I have many entries regarding people in the future from a place called Nemaea. THIS looks like something they would use, and so naturally, I like that.) This is beautiful work! I like the mystery of it.
