My first DOF attempt that actually works!
Minor PS corrections. All scenery items are Vue 7 xStream defaults.

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DoF is hard to control... but there's a cheap trick to get around it. When you render something, before you close the render window - look to the top right of the window the render appears in. There are several buttons over there, including the save button. Make sure you save out the Z-Depth map - it'll come out as a .bmp grayscaled image. with a few minutes work in your image editting software, this will work to fake your DoF - its now 100% great, mind you, but if you have a complicated scene and dont want to take three times as long to render... its a great lil cheat =D In fact, only one image in my gallery uses actual DoF. I love this image - its extremely well done, the lighting is great, the use of DoF made it even better... i love the hint of red leaves off to one side

Yeah, I know about the good old photoshop trick with Z-Depth, and used it a few times (didn't release those works), but I decided that it was time for a fully accurate DOF, and this was the result . Thanks :)
