Ladies and Gentlemen, I have been relying on your oppinions for some time now so here we go again. This is an Image I have been working on for some time, again something is wrong and I can't see the "woods for the trees". Please help me out,. Cmagic....

Let me start by saying that this is truely beautiful just as it is. There are a few problems that appear to MY eye, and I should qualify that by saying that I've had no art training at all, these are strictly my observations. First, the water seems much brighter than the sky, so it apears to have its own light source. The other point is more to do with trying to figure out where the lightsource really is. There is shadow on the forground side of the trees suggesting a distant light source but the mountian to the near right almost looks like the sun is coming in over my right shoulder. Then if you look at the dears back its almost if its coming directly overhead (which would explain the water being brighter than the visible sky. Anyway, those are just things that I think I see but again, I'm no artist.
