Description

I'm not sure if these actually are aphids but they do seem to be in the same family. These insects come back to the same place every year and number in the thousands. Its quite impressive to see so many in one place.

I don't know what they are either, but they certainly are rather pretty...I thought aphids were smaller and more colorless? But maybe they're related. Great captures!

those things used to attack just one of my shrubs and the birds and ladybird would not eat them. the bush would just look black with them, I would mix a bit os washing up liquid in water and spray them it worked a treat lol I dont know if it killed them but it sure as hell got rid of them.this is an awesome collage of photos and its making me itch lol.
