Description
I did everything i could But Princess Mabuba has died...She was my Favorite Llama and i will miss her so very much....
She came to us about 12 years ago with another female named Magic and a boy named Habenaro..They were top dollar show llamas that were given to us when the bottom fell out of the Llama Market...she was always the most bashful and standoffish of the group until 4 years ago when one of the males got in a fight with her and broke her hip..we were told we would have to put her down..but we didnt and hung her in the barn in a sling of our own making..3 months later and gallons of painkillers,vitamins and lots of love she was walking again and not at all standoffish anymore..Thats when she really became a pal..she was so greatful we saved her that she became this joyous animal and would run and dance and pronk and slot and just enjoyed her time with us....This last problem she had was intestinal and it was just near impossible to figure out without and MRI or catscan and that just wasnt available to us....Good bye my friend...This is a very sad day.......

Awwwwww,....I was really hoping and praying that all would turn out well for you and her! I'm so sorry for your loss, and your pic portrays greatly, your depth of caring. Thank you much for sharing it with us, and for letting us know. Some might think me a bit crazy, but I will burn a candle tonight for Princess Mabuba, I've noted in life that sometimes our animal friends were better friends, than some of the people ones!! Our pets become our closest friends because we can tell our deepest secrets to them without ever worring about them telling anyone else. The greet us and are always happy to spend time with us. I think that is how they come to be such an important part of our families. Please find comfort in knowing that in spirit she will always be there with you. Bless you for all you have done for her, our animal friends need more people like you in their lives. My heart goes out for your loss.

I am with twingo, and remember the good times with pets, but unfortunately their lives are shorter than ours, which make sit all that muych harder loosing that bond.. This is an awesome portrait, very expressive , totally superb.
