Description

From Wikipedia: "The Omega Nebula, also known as the Swan Nebula is an H II region in the constellation Sagittarius. It was discovered by Philippe Loys de Ch©seaux in 1745. Charles Messier catalogued it in 1764. It is located in the rich starfields of the Sagittarius area of the Milky Way." Yes - this is an image of the very real Messier 17 cluster snapped by the Hubble telescope. What's unique about this image is that I used the original data (FITS - infrared, ultraviolet/optical data) to recreate and recolor my own version of the data. Hope you like it. I had fun putting this together. THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS!!!
