Description

As Rachel wrote this one last letter, she knew it would never be mailed. It was her way of dealing with everything that had happened, a confession to possibly heal her own heart. A heart now too corrupted to ever truly heal. Dear Chase.... Looking back to our college days, I remember how you made me feel like a fool. Do you remember Chase? Do you remember the day you came to me, acting as if you were ashamed that you had slept with my sister Ava? Do you remember how you begged me for forgiveness, hoping for another chance? How you swore it would never happen again if only I could find it in my heart to forgive you...do you remember Chase? Do you remember the shame I felt, the way I cried? Do you even know or comprehend what you and Ava put me through? Well I'm going to fill you in Chase and after I do, maybe then you will understand why I had to do what I did. After your confession of adultery, I never trusted you nor Ava again. I watched each of you, your every move. I listened to every word ever exchanged between you and she. Yes, I told you both I still loved you and I could forgive you both but the truth is Chase, I lied. Why? Because I wanted you both to pay for the hell you put me through. So at that moment of confession I put my web of revenge in to place. I must admit that I found so much pleasure in this. I wanted to watch you both squirm in the end, that was the only climax that would satisfy me and it has satisfied me Chase, oh how it has brought sweet release in to my heart, my very soul. When Ava and Clay wrote me asking me to come to their place to look after Ava I knew it was the perfect set-up. No neighbors to hear or see anything, a deserted cabin in the hills, the perfect place for my revenge. I'm so proud of myself for the role I played, the devoted lover so broken hearted in leaving the man she loved for three long months...God I am so good, wouldn't you agree Chase? I played it to the hilt and so perfectly too. The way I brought Clay in to it, making you worry about me and finally bringing you out there. The perfect plan. Oh I was more than miffed when I watched how the three of you acted as if you were the best of friends. And of course even angrier that Ava was able to get out of bed to join you and Clay in the living room. But honestly, it worked in my favor, a part of my plan. I watched the way you and Ava would exchange looks. I listened carefully to everything. You both must take me for a fool because I can read between the lines Chase. I know you'd deny it if I were to ask you but I knew all along there was still something between the both of you and that's why I went to Clay the next day and told him about your confession and how it was still going on, right under our noses. I even went as far to tell him that the baby she was carrying was yours, remonding him of how she was all to eager to get out of bed to join him and you. I knew he would erupt in a fit of jealousy but he surprised even me when he went in to Ava calling her all those names and finally in a fit of rage smothering her with the pillow. I watched just out of sight and I felt no remorse as the bitch drew her last breath. She had it coming Chase. She was a slut, a low life to sleep with her own sister's boyfriend. Did she have any remorse in doing that? Hell no she didn't so she got what she had coming. After Clay killed Ava, I knew he would head to the fields to find you so I ducked in to my bedroom out of sight until he left the house. I then followed at a safe distance so as not to be seen or heard. Standing just inside the cattle barn I watched as Clay approached you from behind. I watched as you turned to face him just in time for his fist to make contact with your face. I had to stiffel a laugh when I saw the look of surprise on your face. It was so funny to watch you squirm. But you really shocked me when you took that axe away from Clay. I didn't know you were man enough.... I guess you realized then that you were either going to have to fight or be killed. I did feel a bit of remorse that Clay had to die, I mean, he hadn't really done anything except maybe stare at me but what man wouldn't stare at a girl running around half naked all the time? He was only human. I cringed when I heard that axe make contact with Clay's skull... even Ava's muffled screams and her body jerking in its final desperation to fight didn't make me cringe like that. Even I can feel compassion Chase, but not for you, oh no, not for you at all. You made your bed all those years ago and now, even if it were with my dying breath, you were going to lay in it, pay for what you did to me, just as Ava did. I pulled my cell phone out of my pocket, the one I led everyone to believe wouldn't work out here and I called 911 as I watched you collapse on the ground. When they arrived I put on my very best look of horror, ahhh yes Chase, I should have won an Oscar! In tears and broken sobs I explained to the police when they arrived how you had went on a killing spree... all in the name of love.... how you killed Ava because she had swore to come to me, telling me how she was carrying your baby... how Clay walked in on you as Ava took her last breath, how he tried to stop you but that you got away, going out to the barn. I told them how Clay started out after you in a fit of rage and how I tried to stop him but because of his size I was unable to. The rest pretty much told as it actually happened. And then I had to testify as to what I saw in court. Again, I should have won an Oscar. I was that good Chase but then you know because you watched in horror as I began spinning my web. I caught the eye of one of the jurors and watched her wipe away a tear as I cried and told my story in broken sobs. Even the judge was sympathetic as I looked up, tears streaming down my delicate cheeks, asking for a drink of water. But the closure came when I heard the verdict read.... Guilty of first degree murder, death by the electric chair. Oh what sweet revenge Chase. The final chapter written and finished. You too will die in time, a slow death as you sit there in that cell and think about all those volts pounding through your veins. I'll be there to watch Chase, the grieving sister of Ava ans sister in law to Clay.... the broken lover of the man who commited adultery behind his lover's back. I will have my revenge, my sweet release the day they pull those levers and I watch you burn! Rachel read the letter silently, a smile forming at the corners of her mouth.... she had commited in her mind the perfect crime and with that she lit a match and burned the letter... the truth forever hidden.

Rachel, you're dumb... You don't follow the newspapers do ya? I was set free by the judge... I was not found guilty. When I was doing your Sister, your Mother was over... we had a 3 some... It was your Mother's idea. Did you forget how close your Sister and Mother are or should I say were? Did you forget ALL the things you said to your Mother? Did you forget you called your Mother on your phone and told her you even told the police it didn't work? You even told the police you tried to stop Clay and me from fighting? We fought out in the dirt.. Your footprints were no where to be seen. The police are looking for you. You think you planned this... Hey Stupid, You're going to Hell. I'm not. Clay's death was self defense and I couldn't do anything about him falling on the axe when he lost his balance. So, I am free... You lost me, your sister, brother in law... You even lost your Mother... Are you happy the police are coming to get you for lieing? After your Mother had a talk with them, they see that you premeditated this... They want to charge you for the murder of your unborn niece... So, Your insane behavior really ruined your life. I also know about the letter you wrote and burned... I set up surveylance cameras and caught EVERYTHING ON TAPE... I am writing you from your Mother's house. She did the pg test and found out she two is carrying my child - your little sister... Bet ya didn't see that one coming - lol Yours no longer, Chase... 57 also stands for your Mother's age - lol

Dear Rachel. My lawyer has told me that he is going to appeal the trial with some new evidence that was suppressed in the first trial. Part of the new information that the appeal will be based on, indicates miss-handling and tampering of the circumstantial evidence by which I was convicted. The trial will have to be over-turned and I will be set free. I didn't care much for Clay but I loved Ava and will never have the opportunity to see my daughter alive now, thanks to you. All of this because of your idiotic sense of justice and revenge. Now I'm not stupid enough to declare that I intend any hostile action towards you personally, for your nefarious murderous deeds. I do know any other man would want to spend weeks, slowly torturing you to death, in a nice private secluded basement. I would never do that of course. We will meet again.... soon! I am looking forward to that time. The truth will be known and I will be vindicated. Best of health to you, until we meet again.. Chase Great story Marcy!!! Bravo and hugs from Dave :^)
