Description

Please don't forget to zoom in. This is the third and last in this series, composed of "The Stone Father", "The Stone Mother" and now "The Stone Friend", all featuring the same boy and some other things in common. Each image has a different emotion behind. Among other things (some of which are unique to each viewer), in the first you can see protection, in the second you can see comfort, in the third... well, I'll leave that to you. thumb_1713495.jpgthumb_1714069.jpg Thanks for watching!

Friends let us reach higher than we can alone. That's what I take from it. I like the watcher in the woods on the lower left. The POV from the grass hits the mark just so. Good work! ^__^

Looks like fun. Great rendering; a nearly photographic landscape.

Beautiful! Love the lighting from the darkness in the forest to the highlights on the trees.

Brilliant end to the trilogy. One expects to find protection and comfort from parents, but it cant last forever. Friends can not be taken for granted, they dont have to provide any support, and yet if you find the right one, he'll be your soul partner and help you out of any practical or emotional forest. Saddened me for a bit that the friend is made of stone, but perhaps the lively red decorations suggest that he may yet come to life. Wonderful visually, technically and symbolically - I really enjoyed watching it.

These three images are wonderfully emotional. The little boy is heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time. Well done!

I can't stop looking at the way the leaves and the grass are illuminated. This has to be my favourite scene of all time. Going straight into my favourites. Breathtaking, that's all I have to say.
