Description

What a day. We started out trying to find Abiqua falls just east of Silver Falls State Park. I think we found the trail head and it was the trail from hell. Straight down, I even had to help my dog back up parts of it. It was just a large mud slide waiting to happen. And don’t get the idea we made it all the way down to the falls because we did not. I found the creek but falls? So we took another dirt road and followed a sign to Butter Creek Falls. Oh how nice a small 1.5 mile loop and only about a 400 foot elevation change. Pictured is Upper Butte Creek Falls. Beautiful place really enjoyed it.

Beautiful capture. Try all the falls out 234? From Roseburg along the Umpqua, some are very accessible and gorgeous including Fall creek falls, Susan Creek falls and Tokatee falls. I think I have pictures of them posted here. The best part of the ride is the gorgeous river and watching the fly fisherman. Cheers!
