Description

This is for my friend Judy (angelbearzs) who is the sweetest girl and best friend anyone could have. When I asked Judy what she wanted for her birthday last week she told me she wanted me to do a image for her so here it is. If you know Judy then you have to know how much she loves faeries and I was so proud to help her bring her magical idea to life for her. Fairytale Birthday (For angelbearzs): It was the eve of her birthday as Judy and her kitty Boots finally drifted off to sleep. During the night Boots was woke up by a noise as he heard the window open. All Boots can do is meow as he sees a parade of little faeries coming through the window carrying presents. One of them brought a cupcake with the words (Happy Birthday Judy) spelled out and placed in upon her dresser. This continued for a while until finally Boots made enough noise to wake Judy up. Now both Judy and Boots got to witness this birthday miracle. My only wish is I could make this really come true for you Judy. Sorry that I missed this one some how. I love Judy's expression. She seems so delighted by this parade of wonders and is quite accepting of it. Boots expression on the other hand is more likely focused upon how he might be able to catch one of these nifty 'birds'. You know how cats are. Hmmm! Some of these winged ladies are quite well endowed I see. No doubt this was a technique of fairy tail artists to keep the parents (Dad) engaged while reading a bed time story to their kids. You really put a lot of effort in the details Dave. Really lovely work as always.
