Description

After seeing increased imperial activity in the Kathol Sector, the Rebel Alliance was able to track them back to a newly constructed base in canyon territories of Aaris III. A single recon scout was sent in to acquire detailed information on the new installation and report back to base. While at first glance this seemed like a typical imperial ground base, further research proved it to be a new central communications hub for the entire Imperial Navy. Assuming the scout can get off the planet safely, the information will be of great value to the alliance and pivotal in the event of an offensive maneuver. I've been trying to clean up all of the projects in various states of completion that have accumulated on my hard drive, tossing the dead ends and wrapping up the others. This is an older one that I thought had kind of a cool POV, so here it is :) ...made with lots of Vue vegetation, selected Dystopia city blocks and the Dystopia communication tower bonus block. Freebie credit and thanks go to Tom Grays for his Tie Phantom (scifi3d.com) and Olivier Couston for his Shuttle Tydirium (scifi3d.com). As always, thanks for looking and for any comments and suggestions.

So that's where the empire came from. Wasn't the trade federation, as is commonly accepted. It was halliburton oil! Arab money in the pockets of the sith! No wonder they can afford to build things like the death star :P heh. Just saying . . . heh. I like this imade dude. I like the pov. A larger render would be nice, cause its worth it. Great work!

Very nice use of the Comm tower. Funny sign. I like the trees on the mesa. Excellent shot. Good luck tying up those loose ends. I know how they can pile up.

Awesome pic! I like the way you mixed urban future structures and nature. Using the trees as some kind of framing is a very neat idea. Very funny sign, too. Two thumbs up!

Love the irony of the warning sign. Great contrast between the clean tech lines of the building and its environment.

This is simply stunning! I'm really glad you went back to it, because it's a great shot. I really love the lighting on this, and the point of view - oh, and the sign really adds that special touch. ;)

Great scene (must be viewed in full size). Very good composition. If I have to trust your picture, maybe good to buy some shares from Halliburton as it will be still active in many decades :-)

I love this sign, I bet Darth Cheney is in there right now with Emperor Bush thinking about how else to fuck the environment:D A nicely composed scene otherwise.

Excellent JCD. I'm a big fan of pushing the veg in around the camera - it provides an interesting natural frame. Love the sign as well!

Would love a little more light on the sign, but that could just be my monitor, apart from that wonderfully framed. Turan
