Description

This is one of the things I love to do - making jams, conserves and chutneys! This mornings batch was Rhubarb & Banana (I didn't have much rhubarb but had some bananas going spare so - when in doubt....add bananas!) So a new recipe was born. While I was waiting for this pic to render I couldn't resist trying some on a piece of lovely crusty bread. Wasn't sure what to expect but I CAN say this batch won't last long and I won't be giving any away! It's absolutely scrummy! So now you know ...... ;-) Thanx 4 peekin' -------------------- Linda's Lush Grass and Garden Bushes Tree and potted plants - mine Also made the jam jars hahaaaaaaa!

I LOVE the Image, a real little Tea Garden you created there my friend. As I am German I do MISS the German bread, we do have so many many different kind of breads and crusty ones of course. I can smell the bread in your picture, it looks so yummy!!!!

This is lovely, and your pastime sounds great. Work, but definitely fun work! I'm afraid I have to disagree with madasatadpole, though. I know for a fact that jam butties come from the jam buttie factory. I had that firsthand from Ken Dodd!

Lovely image. Not sure about the rhubarb, but the banana sounds scrummy. Of course, when our bananas go bad, we make banana daquari's :)

You'd better get making that jam to take to the car boot at Marchwiel Gill! lol Then you'd have all those welsh people begging for more! lol. You might even sell a couple of pots of jam too! Hahahaha! (teasing) ;o) Lovely work! Steve :o)

This is a very pretty summer scene! Your love for this hobby shows. It's so inviting. I love rhubarb. Rhubarb pie is an old-fashioned specialty in the area of the US where I live, and I am pleased to read that my Welsh ancestors probably enjoyed it, too. I never thought of mixing rhubarb with bananas. I'm thinking of creating a smoothie with those ingredients sometime. : )

Sounds yummy! I love a picture like this that tells me something interesting about the artists--It's a real sharing. By the way, have you ever had a peanut butter, mayo, and banana sandwich? Sounds awful but they are great!!

Great work Gill, another peak into your wonderful world. Anyway, I'm just off to Asda to peruse their wide range of preserves and see if your flavour exists in the real world. D
